For a new formulation we use the same third party laboratory to carry out the PET (preservative efficacy testing) which takes approx. 8 weeks.

For a new formulations we carry out our own in-house stability testing which usually takes 12 weeks, and in-house product-packaging compatibility testing which runs concurrently.

Using the above test results we use the third party laboratory to carry out a safety assessments and to write the new product CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report) to comply with Cosmetic Regulations (EC) 1223/2009.
